Abily.me Terms and Conditions
a. Welcome and Acceptance
By using the Abily application, you automatically accept these terms and conditions. It is important that you read them and save them for future reference.
b. What is Abily?
Abily is a platform that connects students with language educators.
Teachers set their own rates and schedules.
Students pay for classes directly within Abily.
c. Your Account and Security
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password.
You cannot transfer your account to another person.
Abily reserves the right to cancel accounts or remove content if these terms are violated.
d. Minimum Age to Use Abily
You cannot use Abily if you are under 13 years of age.
If you are between 13 and 18 years old, you need the permission and supervision of a parent or guardian.
e. Cancellation and Refund Policy
You can cancel the purchase of classes at any time.
50% Refund: If you cancel at least 4 hours before the class time.
15% Refund: If you cancel less than 4 hours before the class time.
The tutor or the student can reschedule a class only if it is done 4 hours or more before the class.
Flexibility: If you cancel a class with one teacher, you can use your classes with any teacher on the platform.

f. Your Conduct on the Platform
You must use Abily only for purposes related to language learning.
Prohibited: Harassing other users, posting offensive content, infringing copyright, sending spam or viruses, or engaging in fraudulent activities.
Abily may remove any content and cancel the access of anyone who violates these rules.
g. Limitation of Liability
Abily is provided "as is" and does not guarantee that the service will always be available or error-free.
Abily will not be liable for indirect damages or losses that may arise from the use of the platform.
h. Dispute Resolution (Arbitration)
Any legal dispute will be resolved through arbitration (a private process for resolving conflicts) instead of in a traditional court.
Class Action Waiver: You can only bring individual disputes against Abily, you cannot join a class action lawsuit.
i. Changes to the Terms
Abily may update these terms at any time. The most recent version will always be available in the app. It is your responsibility to review them periodically.
Acceptance of the Terms
By accessing and using the abily.me platform ("the Platform"), you agree to comply with these Terms and Conditions and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you may not use our services.
1. Definitions
Platform: abily.me, including its website and all its pages and mobile application (PWA)
Student: User who hires tutoring services for individual lessons or group classes
Tutor: User who offers tutoring services
Lesson: Scheduled individual tutoring session
Group Class: Scheduled group tutoring session
2. Registration and Student Account
3.1. To use the Platform as a Student, you must be over 18 years of age or have parental authorization if you are over 13 years old.
3.2. The user is responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account and password.
3. Booking and Payment for Lessons
4.1. Payment for lessons is made securely on the Platform via Paypal before the lesson or class.
4.2. For group classes, booking is allowed until 240 minutes (4 hours) before the scheduled class time.
4. Cancellation and Rescheduling by the Student
5.1. Lesson Cancellation:

Cancellation with 4 hours or more notice: 60% refund

Cancellation with less than 4 hours notice: 20% refund

Unscheduled lesson from a paid class package: 70% refund
5.2. Rescheduling:

You may reschedule a lesson or class at least 4 hours before the scheduled time.
5.3. Refund Period:

Cancellations must be made with 8 hours or more notice to be eligible for a refund according to the established policies.
5. Student Conduct
You must use the Platform only for purposes related to language learning.
It is prohibited to harass other users, post offensive content, infringe copyright, send spam or viruses, or engage in fraudulent activities.
Abily may remove any content and cancel the access of anyone who violates these rules at any time with or without prior notice.
